Trip Itinerary
Your journey begins as our representative receives you at New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) or Bagdogra Airport (IXB).
Enjoy a scenic 4-hour drive to Gangtok, passing through the lush greenery and river valleys of Teesta.
Check into your hotel, relax, and in the evening, stroll along the vibrant MG Marg, famous for local cafés, handicrafts, and Sikkimese vibes.
Overnight stay in Gangtok.
After breakfast, depart for Lachen (120 km, 6 hours) at 10:30 AM from Vajra Stand.
En route, witness the beautiful Seven Sisters Waterfall and stop at Chungthang for refreshments.
Arrive at Lachen by evening. This serene Himalayan village sits at an altitude of 8,500 ft, surrounded by snow-clad peaks and pine forests.
Dinner & overnight stay at Lachen.
Early morning departure for Gurudongmar Lake (15,800 ft), one of the highest lakes in the world and a sacred site for Buddhists and Hindus alike.
The sparkling blue water surrounded by snowfields creates a heavenly view.
Return to Lachen for lunch and continue your journey to Lachung — the gateway to the famous Yumthang Valley.
Dinner & overnight stay at Lachung.
Wake up early for a trip to Yumthang Valley (11,800 ft), also known as the “Valley of Flowers.”
Enjoy the colorful landscape, hot springs, and rhododendron forests.
Optional visit to Zero Point, Katao, or Kalapathar (additional cost ₹3500 per vehicle).
After exploring, drive back to Gangtok (130 km, 5 hours).
Overnight stay in Gangtok.
After breakfast, check out and begin your return journey to NJP or Bagdogra.
Enjoy scenic views along the Teesta River and stop at Coronation Bridge or Melli View Point for pictures.
